Chiron & The Healing You Bring To Others
I keep reflecting on how much of our true expression is blocked. How many of us have experienced trauma that has left us hiding our true selves from the world…
Afraid to speak what we think. Afraid to speak what we feel. Afraid to share our beliefs. Afraid to share what we find fascinating.
When did we begin to value acceptance over authenticity?
When did being our authentic selves become threatening to our livelihoods?
How did the pain and rejection from one, create the retreating and hiding from all?
My Chiron sits in my 11th house and healing the wounds of belonging is something I am still actively working towards. I also believe my Chiron placement plays a major part in why I do what I do.
To feel isolated, alienated and alone for being human and experiencing human thoughts, emotions, and experiences is one of the most damaging feelings.
To take something that is so normal, but feel like there is something wrong with you and desperately trying to change or fix yourself to be accepted.
It hurts us to feel like we are separate from others. It hurts us to have people guilt, shame, or reject us for having normal reactions or emotional responses. It hurts us to not have our uniqueness celebrated. It inhibits us to feel judged for being ourselves.
But, the beauty of our Chiron placement is what has wounded you, you have the ability to heal within yourself and thus you can help facilitate healing in others.
It’s empowering to take what has hurt us to spread empathy, compassion, and understanding… to show love and accept others.
In order to embody our true authentic expression, we must first feel safe to be ourselves.
You can find your Chiron Placement by looking up your natal chart online. I use astro-seek.com or Astro.com. Look for the symbol circled below.
You’ll look to see what house it sits in for this post. Mine is at the final degree of my 11th house.
This post covers Chiron in the Natal Houses, but your Chiron sign (Aries, Cancer, Taurus etc.) is also equally as influential.
