Venus Retrograde

Venus Retrograde (Aries > Pisces)

March 1 – April 12, 2025

Preshadow:: January 28 – March 1, 2025

Venus Retrograde always packs a punch, especially for Taurus and Libra placements. And this year, Venus Retrograde will be blessing Aries and Pisces placements with a different feeling to start off Spring.

And as a Taurus Sun, Venus, and Pisces Moon… there’s heavy sarcasm behind that “blessed.” Venus Retrograde always proves to be the most intense of all of the Retrogrades for me.

It is a blessing to swim in the depths and emerge transformed, but it’s not always the easiest/most enjoyable way to experience growth and change.

Venus Retrograde will have us exploring attachment wounding, betrayal, intense triggers, communication, misaligned values, past trauma, understanding our needs…asking for those needs to be met, and seeing where and how others may not fully be able to meet us, seeing where our expectations may need to shift, and possibly ending relationships that can’t meet us where we need or deserve to be met.

Other themes may be present around finances, worth, and value, creativity and self-expression, and our relationship to pleasure (whether we tend towards overindulgence or depriving/punishing ourselves).

Exploring subconscious beliefs around feeling unworthy, unlovable, or hard to love may come to the surface in a very intense and in-depth way during this time, only to be healed and transformed into an undeniable confidence that you are worthy just because you exist. You don’t need to do more or be more/different to prove that you are lovable and worthy of love.

During this time, we may see past connections resurface (for closure or re-evaluation), or we may just find ourselves wrapped up in nostalgia, reflecting on the past.

Venus Retrograde is here to teach us how we can relate better, in a more loving and intimate way, but first it’s bringing our awareness to the past… to understand how it’s shaped us and how our coping mechanisms may not be the healthiest at supporting us and those around us.

Venus moves in 8 year cycles, so themes from 2017 (specifically March 2- April 15, 2017) may be present and up for review.

Come March 22, 2025, Venus will meet the Sun forming a Cazimi, reaching its halfway point through Retrograde and acting as almost a cosmic reset and rebirth to our relationships, allowing us to move forward and integrate all that we’ve learned.

This reset sets the tone for a new 8 year cycle in our relationships, love, and our sense of self-worth and value.

Preshadow (January 28-March 1) introduces the themes and areas that Venus Retrograde will focus on, offering subtle hints and early reflections. It’s when you start noticing unresolved issues in love, self-worth, or finances that will intensify during the retrograde itself. So come January 28th onward, it’s a good time to start noticing the quiet whispers of these themes bubbling up.

While this phase may be uncomfortable, you’re going to step out on the other side with a renewed sense of self-worth. You will also find clarity within your relationships and how you relate to others. You’ll likely feel more aligned with your values, confident in your lovability, and clear on what you deserve. This transit will empower you to set healthier boundaries and cultivate deeper, more authentic connections.

☼ What lessons did you take away from the past 8 years in regard to love and self-worth?

☼ What karmic cycles are coming to a close?

☼ What are you leaving behind and entering this new era with?

☼ What ways of relating have proven to be unhealthy, and what healthier patterns, habits, and ways of relating can you replace them with?

☼ How can you lean more into unconditional love – of yourself and others?

☼  What themes were present in 2017 surrounding love and self-worth? How have you grown since then? How have you strengthened your confidence and ability to relate?

☼ What beliefs would you like to transform and take with you in this new 8 year cycle?

Hi, I´m Danielle

Little Moon Wellness has transformed greatly over the years. I began my journey in 2013 with holistic health and herbalism, transitioning into hormone healing and, to now practicing as a Trauma Recovery Coach.

Yet, in the aftermath of Covid, it has become increasingly obvious how much we all desire connection and are desperately seeking the support of a loving and accepting community.

In 2020, I began hosting Circles to facilitate a deeper sense of belonging, and a new element of Little Moon Wellness was born.

In 2023, Little Moon Wellness opened its doors in the heart of the Santa Fe Arts District in Denver, CO. As a Healing Collective, it offers a safe space for those looking to build community and connect deeper with themselves and others on their healing journey. The space offers a wide range of healing modalities including coaching, circles, ceremonies, workshops and retreats.
